Chef Charlie Ayers of Calafia Restaurant – Widely known as the former executive chef for Google Inc., this celebrated chef and author from California was also the chef for the Grateful Dead and has cooked for notables such as President Bill Clinton.  He is recognized for zealously providing eclectic and unique gourmet food and drink in an ambiance of music and fun.

Rod Phillips – Noted Ottawa historian, writer and journalist Rod Phillips writes a popular weekly wine column for  the Ottawa Citizen.  He also writes books on wine, contributes to wine magazines and other media in Canada, the United States and Europe, and judges wine competitions.  He has many followers through his two free electronic newsletters: Winepointer and Worlds of Wine.

Chef Rene Rodriguez – Chef Rene Rodriguez honed his skills at restaurants such as the prestigious Fifth Floor Restaurant in San Francisco under the tutelage of Executive Chef George Morrone. Since then he has been Chef de Cuisine at top Ottawa restaurants such as ARC the Hotel, Social Restaurant and the Black Cat Café. In addition he has appeared on Canada’s Food Network Show Cook Like a Chef and in June 2008 opened his own very popular restaurant, Navarro focussing on the Spanish cuisine.
